Alessio Nebiolo began his musical studies at the age of eight. Between 1999 and 2005, he obtained the diploma with honors at the ``Antonio Vivaldi `` Conservatory in Alessandria, then the Diploma of Virtuosity with honors, followed by the Soloist Diploma, the highest title of specialization at the "Conservatoire de Musique de Lausanne" (Switzerland) and about ten awards (including six first prizes) in international competitions. In 2005, he received the "Max Jost" award (Lausanne, Switzerland) awarded to the best soloist of the year, among all instrumentalists.

Critics describe him as one of the brightest and most active guitarists of his time. He performs regularly in Europe, Asia, North and South America with over 40 concerts a year.

Among the main European festivals, he has participated as a soloist at the Rossini Opera Festival (Italy), Verbania Musica Festival (Italy), Cantiere Internazionale d'Arte di Montepuliano (Italy), Festival de l'Orne (France), International Festival of Annecy Cinema (France), Festival de Lucerne (Switzerland), Sommets Musicaux de Gstaad (Switzerland), Sommets du Classic de Crans Montana (Switzerland), Musik an der ETH' (Switzerland), III Encontros Internacionalis de Musica de Mallorca ( Portugal), XV Festival Internacional de Musica dos Açores (Portugal), National Radio Festival (Romania), Festival de Los Amigos de la Guitarra of Valencia (Spain).

He has played live for the Swiss National Radio Espace2, Rai Radio 3, the Romanian National Radio and the National Televisions of Switzerland, Romania, France, Chile, Bolivia and Paraguay.

In Asia he has performed in the most prestigious halls of the main cities of India, Indonesia, Sri Lanka including "Erasmus Huis" in Jakarta, "Kala Academy" in Goa, "Habitat Center" New Delhi, Calcutta's School of Music.

In Canada and the United States of America, he has been invited to several universities and festivals (Montreal, Philadelphia, Ann Arbor, Dayton, Baltimore, Washington DC). In 2017 he was a guest soloist at the Summerfest which takes place between Florida and Panama, interpreting a piece dedicated to him by Maestro Lorenzo Turchi-Floris in over 30 concerts, directed by the composer with the Symphony of the Americas.

In 2009 he made his first tour in South America (Uruguay, Argentina, Bolivia and Paraguay) accompanied by the "Philarmonica de Cochabamba" orchestra for the performance of the Concierto de Aranjuez de Joaquin Rodrigo. On this occasion, juror of international competitions, he gives récitals and masterclasses. Since then, an annual appointment sees him as a guest on other tours also in Peru, Brazil and Chile.

As a soloist he has performed with orchestras including: Orchester de la Suisse Romande, Lugano Chamber Orchestra (Switzerland), Sanremo Symphony Orchestra (Italy), Orquesta de la Universidad Mayor de Santiago (Chile), Orquesta Filarmonica de Temuco ( Chile), Nova Amadeus Chamber Orchestra (Rome - Italy), Orchester Symphonique du Mont Blanc (France), le Chœur de l'Orchester Symphonique du Mont Blanc, Philarmonica de Cochabamba (Bolivia), Sinfonietta de Lausanne (Switzerland), Orchester de Ribeaupierre (Switzerland), Philarmonica Marea Neagra (Romania), Mission Symphony Orchestra (Italy), Symphony of the Americas (USA) Filharmonica Kaliska (Poland), Orchestra del Cantiere dell'Arte di Montepulciano (Italy).

Alongside his solo activity, he is engaged in various stable formations with which he has collaborated for many years: the pianist Lorenzo Turchi-Floris, the accordionist M° Nadio Marenco, the "Lausanne Guitar Trio", the violinist Bogdan Zvoristeanu, the actor Alain Carré, the flutists Claude Régimbald and Jeanne Gollut, the Tremendo Cuarteto, the guitarist Dora Filippone.

He teaches guitar at the “Conservatoire de Musique de Genève” in Switzerland and occasionally holds Master Classes in Europe, America and Asia. Alessio Nebiolo has to his credit eleven recordings for the labels Arpeggio (France), Tempus (Mexico), Guitart, SMC Records, Classica Viva, Aulicus (Italy) and Brilliant Classic (Holland).

The recital held for the Festival de Lucerne, one of the most prestigious worldwide reviews, was broadcast in its entirety by the Swiss National Radio and produced through the CD "Live at Lucerne Festival".
